MY PRIORITIES

HEALTH CARE

Alberta's Health Care system has been neglected by the UCP  and the Red Deer Regional Hospital is on the verge of collapse.  My priority is to ensure Red Deer's hospital expansion is fast-tracked, includes a cardiac catheterization lab, and that we change our current conversation with the health care sector so we have doctors and nurses who want to work here.

EDUCATION

From Kindergarten to Post-Secondary, there are changes being made to our school systems that worry me. The new curriculum is a giant step backwards. Kids, who have the internet at their finger tips, are going to be taught to memorize dates and facts, instead of learning critical-thinking skills.  

AFFORDABILITY

The cost of everything from groceries to insurance to electricity is going up. The average Albertan is having a hard time making ends meet.  We need to reinstate protections to help ensure these basics are not out of reach for working families.
